Arthropods

The arthropod classification is comprised of crustaceans, spiders, scorpions, centipedes, and many more.

Despite the diversity and size of arthropods classification, sound production is relatively consistent. Sound is produced by rubbing either one part of the body against another part of the body or against another object.

Arthropods hear via senstha (hair) found on either the antennae or genitalia, or by a more complex tympanal organ.
